Our Privacy Policy

SalesPrompter does not sell or share your information with anyone else. The information collected is used only to debug, improve, and operate the services offered. Please see below for specifics on what information is collected about your visit.

Log Files

Like most standard websites, this website automatically produces log files. These files include IP addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, and date/time stamp. None of this data is linked to personally identifiable information.

Analytics Tracking

This site uses Google Analytics to analyze and improve your experience on the site. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are pieces of data stored on a user's computer containing information about the user. The Google Analytics tracking tag also sends information about your visit to Google's servers for processing and reporting.

SalesPrompter provides an add-on for Google Sheets™:

SalesPrompter for Sheets™

The SalesPrompter for Sheets™ add-on uses Google Apps Script to automate data handling processes within your Google Sheets. SalesPrompter for Sheets runs entirely within Google Sheets™, and none of your Sheets data is accessed, viewed, or stored by our servers. Upon installation, this add-on requests the following permissions:

  • View and manage spreadsheets that this application has been installed in. SalesPrompter for Sheets™ imports data into your worksheets, which requires reading and modifying your spreadsheet. We have limited the scope of this permission to your current spreadsheet, rather than the default scope of reading/writing all sheets.

  • Connect to an external service. This permission is required for fetching subscription info and fetching data from the SalesPrompter for Sheets™ API as requested by the user.

  • Allow this application to run when you are not present. This enables you to set triggers so your API requests can run automatically.

  • Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications. This permission is required for opening up the sidebar so you can configure and execute requests.

Third Party Services

SalesPrompter for Sheets™ uses Stripe to process payments. Please review Stripe's privacy policy located at https://stripe.com/privacy.

User Data

When you install SalesPrompter for Sheets™, Google sign-in will authenticate your identity and share your email address with us. SalesPrompter for Sheets™ collects the following personal user data:

  • email address

In addition, SalesPrompter for Sheets™ logs data using the Google Cloud Platform. Along with the email address, the following data is temporarily logged to assist with debugging:

  • error messages from unsuccessful requests

  • timestamp of requests

  • trigger frequency

  • subscription status (free, trial, paid)

Separately, SalesPrompter for Sheets™ runs Google Analytics. Google Analytics provides user information such as user device type and region, as well as usage information such as clicks and views of screens and buttons within SalesPrompter for Sheets™. All data is tracked in aggregate, and no personally identifiable data is collected via Google Analytics. Google Analytics cookies are not placed on your device.

Finally, requests, triggers, subscription data, and limits are saved into your own sheet using Google storage, specifically Document Properties and User Properties. SalesPrompter for Sheets™ does not place cookies on your device and does not store, access, or collect authentication details, request headers, full request URLs, or copies of any Sheets content produced by the request process.

Data Sharing with External AI Services

SalesPrompter for Sheets™ sends input data, specifically the LinkedIn profile URL of the sender and the LinkedIn profile URL of the recipient, to OpenAI to provide its services. This data is used solely to generate responses and is not stored by OpenAI beyond the duration of the request process.

Data Deletion

Logs are retained for 3 months and then automatically deleted.

User data will be deleted upon request to support@salesprompter.ai. We will perform the deletion within 30 days and will send you a confirmation once the request has been processed.

Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

SalesPrompter for Sheets™ use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
